Tai Chi

Tai Chi lessons are suitable for everyone

Both Tai Chi Chuan and Taijiwuxigong can be practiced by everyone. Age is not important, nor is sportiness or agility. Companies, IT and others with many sitting employees benefit from Tai Chi lessons before the day starts.
In London a try-out was done with Tai Chi before the workday started and what turned out, employees were more
positive at their work, performed better and collegiality also improved.

The recipe below quickly yields results to increase your joy of life and health :
• An open mind (no prejudices) to hear and learn
• Weekly lessons
• Some old habits change
• Daily practice.
Do you also want to attend one of my Tai Chi lessons ?  Look in the agenda when I'm in the area.

history Tai chi

The Tai Chi Chuan has been practiced by the Chinese for hundreds of years. A village in China used to consist of one family. Because the Chinese were not allowed to have weapons, they could only defend themselves with their body. In this way each village developed its own combat style, which of course was carefully kept secret and remained within the family. In times of peace it was discovered that people who practiced these forms were healthier and happier and up to old age than non-practitioners. Chang San-Feng (he was considered an "immortal") wanted to make these exercises accessible to everyone,
By slowing down the movements and thus developing the internal martial arts.

It seems that two Chang San Fengs have lived in the Wudan Mountains. The first one, called the wild Chang San Feng lived
from 960-1267 (307 years ! ). He developed the internal martial arts. The second one was born in 1247-1447 (200 years ! ). He was a highly valued Taoist master with exceptional qualities. He could predict the future and had magical healing powers, but fame was totally unimportant for him. This last Chang San Feng  was very popular with the Chinese population.
The Chinese have assigned the origin of the Tai Chi Chuan to this last one.

Tai Chi Chuan (Taijiquan) is a series of slow movements. These movements are carried out according to a fixed pattern.
Together they are called "The Form". There are different forms, we practice the Taiji-37, a Yang style of the Nan pei ("Heavenly mountain") of the Southern school. The roots under the feet, in Chinese "Yuan Chuan" or "bubbling source", are the point of contact to carry the earth force to the lower power center in the abdomen. Through this center, the "dantien", the energy in
the meridians can be activated and the whole body starts to move. This allows you to get into a flow, a natural flow where
body and mind move together in harmony. Very Meditative, good for the brain.

Taijiwuxigong originated from the Tai Chi Chuan. Dr. Shen Hongxun (1939 - 2011 ) discovered that many people
had difficulty remembering the various different movements from the form. As a result, they missed  the calmness of the
mind as an important part of Tai Chi Chuan. As a result, he developed the Dao-Yins. These are movements / postures that
helps the body to release tensions spontaneously. This is sometimes accompanied by shaking, vibration and noise. After practicing these Dao-yins it appeared that these students felt liberated, relieved, lighter and happier.
This way of moving goes into very deep layers of consciousness and also includes the release of emotions, traumas, fears, insecurity, etc.

Dr. Shen Hongxun (†) founded the Buqi Institute in Ghent, Belgium in 1987. He is the founder of the Buqi system,
of which the Tai Chi Chuan and the Taijiwuxigong are a part. As well as the Buqi healing. The Buqi is descended
from an ancient long-held kept secret healing system. It has been transmitted through Chinese chosen ones, that developed
this system as Dr. Shen Hongxun did his way.
Shen Jin, dr. Shen Hongxun's daughter still teaches all directions in this complete healing system, all over Europe .

Dr. Shen Hongxun was the 14th in lineage. Through intensive studies with Taoist and Buddhist monks and lamas of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, among others, Dr. Shen Hongxun further developed this system. He has made the Buqi system accessible to the West, so to us. For the Chinese, the most important thing in life is to live long, happy and healthy, both physically and mentally.          They are willing to do a lot for that!          So why should not we ?
